Fox Rothschild LLP issued the following announcement on Feb. 9.

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to welcome a team of five partners, led by Matthew D. Monsour, to the Litigation Department in Pittsburgh.

“Matt and his team are highly experienced in resolving high-stakes, sophisticated complex litigation for the nation’s leading tech, transportation and financial services corporations, and we are thrilled to welcome them to our growing Pittsburgh office,” said Jay D. Marinstein, Fox’s Pittsburgh Office Managing Partner. “Companies operating in these sectors also face a range of complex compliance challenges, and this group of attorneys is adept at steering clients through those issues as well.”

Monsour has established a reputation both within Pittsburgh and across the country for strategically defending companies against recurring and business-sensitive litigation across jurisdictions at trial and on appeal. He has served as national coordinating counsel for clients in the burgeoning gig economy industry and has tried cases in federal and state court. Monsour is included in the “Legal 500 United States” guide for Transport: Rail and Road – Litigation and Regulation in 2021, as one of the top lawyers in the country.

“We’re excited to join Fox Rothschild’s Pittsburgh office,” Monsour said. “Whether we are defending clients in court, protecting their interests in arbitration or advising them on compliance issues, our group is laser-focused on providing the most effective, efficient solutions to their business challenges. Fox Rothschild’s national platform, commitment to top-tier client service, and emphasis on providing high-value, customized legal counsel will enable us to grow and enhance our practice and better serve the businesses that rely on us.”
