Montgomery McCracken Adds Associate Joseph P. McCool in Philadelphia Office

Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads LLP issued the following announcement on Mar. 1.

Montgomery McCracken is pleased to announce the addition of Joseph P. McCool to the firm’s Philadelphia office. Joseph has joined the Litigation Department as an associate.

McCool focuses his practice on white collar and government investigations and has extensive experience in trial preparation, victim and witness interviews, evidentiary analysis, preliminary motions, discovery proceedings, and actively contributing to extensive pretrial motion practice in assigned cases. He is also experienced in trying jury trials, litigating motions, and managing pretrial hearings.  McCool earned his J.D. degree from the Temple University Beasley School of Law and is currently enrolled in The George Washington University’s Government Procurement Law LLM Program.

Prior to joining Montgomery McCracken, McCool served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Georgia and as an Assistant District Attorney at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.

McCool is also a Major in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps. As an Army Reservist, he currently serves as a Brigade Judge Advocate for the 2nd Brigade, 98th Training Division.  On active duty in the Army, he served as a military prosecutor for the 3rd Infantry Division in Fort Stewart, GA.
