Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Matthew D. Monsour and Aparna Nemlekar, who were named Lawyers on the Fast Track as part of The Legal Intelligencer’s 2022 Professional Excellence Awards program. Fox was also named as a leader in the Law Firm Innovators category.

Monsour, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, handles high-stakes commercial disputes at both the trial and appellate level for some of the country’s top corporations. He focuses on the technology, transportation and financial services sectors, representing and advising leading technology platforms in litigation and compliance matters nationwide. Monsour has served as national coordinating counsel to multiple clients, defending them against litigation issues of first impression across the United States. He regularly advises on the status of online platform users, the enforcement of terms and conditions, and product liability for burgeoning industries.
Nemlekar, a registered patent attorney and partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property Department, has more than a decade of experience as both inside and outside counsel, having distinguished herself working with a variety of clients in the retail, chemical, biotech, pharmaceutical and medical technology industries. With advanced degrees in microbiology and human genetics, she provides insight into her clients’ complex scientific and technical matters as she assists them in identifying and protecting valuable innovations in the United States and around the world. Her ability to advise on maximizing the scope, term and value of intellectual property, including developing strategies for product exclusivity, patent prosecution, due diligence and transactional support, is a powerful asset for clients and the firm.

Fox’s Knowledge Management Team, led by Chief Knowledge and Innovation Officer Catherine M. Monte, was recognized in the Law Firm Innovators category for harnessing cutting-edge technology to bring unique solutions to attorney and client needs. Two recent projects that showcase these efforts include:
- The firm’s interactive National Survey of State Psychedelics Laws, which provides a sortable nationwide overview of the legal landscape surrounding these substances in all 50 states. For this project, the Knowledge Management Team collaborated closely with Fox’s Cannabis Law co-chair Joshua Horn.
- Fox Launchpad, which is a virtual incubator and resource center for emerging company clients. Launchpad itself has been operating for a few years under the guidance of Fox’s Emerging Companies & Venture Capital Practice Group co-chair Elizabeth Sigety, but this new app significantly expedited the data collection and review process.
