Anthony Haller Honored by Philadelphia Ballet for 40 Years of Service

Blank Rome partner Anthony Haller will be honored by the Philadelphia Ballet at a special VIP Benefit Event on Thursday, June 2, 2022, for his 40 years of volunteer service to the Ballet. To recognize Anthony, the Philadelphia Ballet has created a new award that will be presented in his honor. Anthony currently serves on the Philadelphia Ballet Board of Trustees and he is a Vice-President and a member of the Philadelphia Ballet’s Executive Committee. This honor reflects Blank Rome’s 75-year and enduring commitment to pro bono work and service to the community.

The inaugural “Anthony Haller Volunteer of the Year” award will be presented to Philadelphia Ballet alumna Jennifer Borish in recognition of her work with Philadelphia Ballet which has focused on reengaging the Company’s alumni.

The 3rd Annual Spring Festival at Red Rose Farm will feature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and tastings, followed by performances from the Philadelphia Ballet and members of the Philadelphia Ballet Orchestra.

At Blank Rome, Anthony concentrates his practice on all aspects of labor and employment law, including preventative counseling, complex litigation, trial, and appellate work. Anthony was a member of the firm’s Executive Committee from 2010 to 2012. He served as Chair of the Blank Rome’s Labor and Employment group from 2008 to 2013 and he currently co-leads the firm’s nationally acclaimed Trade Secrets & Competitive Hiring practice. He has been regularly recognized by Chambers USA, Chambers Global, Benchmark Litigation, Best Lawyers, and Super Lawyers as a leader in labor and employment law, and he was recently named an “Employment Law Trailblazer” and “Pennsylvania Trailblazer” in The National Law Journal and The Legal Intelligencer, respectively. In 2018 and 2019, he was named the U.S. Trade Secrets Lawyer of the Year by Financial Monthly. In 2020 and 2021 Anthony was bestowed the Lexicology Client Choice Award for Employment Law. This award is based on more than 2000 individual client assessments and it recognizes lawyers “who stand apart for the excellent client care and quality of service they provide and who add real value to clients above and beyond other players in the market”. Anthony has written numerous articles on employment law topics and has been a frequent lecturer on employment law issues.
