MEDIA — An online retailer alleges a former employee stole its inventory and resold it on her Instagram account.

Greystone Needlepoint LLC filed a complaint June 29 in the Court of Common Pleas Delaware County against Morgan Gleeson alleging breach of fiduciary duty and other claims.

According to Greystone's complaint, Gleeson was employed with the online reseller of needlepoint threads and canvases from March of 2021 to May 2022. It alleges that during Gleeson's employ, inventory would be missing and that it discovered she had been selling stolen needlepoint canvases through her Instagram account.

Greystone further alleges that after it contacted law enforcement, Gleeson abruptly removed the stolen goods from her Instagram page and promised to pay it restitution but has failed to.

Greystone claims it never gave Gleeson the right to use and possess its property and that it did not give her consent to resell the property.

Greystone seeks monetary relief of more than $50,000 and other relief. It is represented by Walter Zimolong of Zimlong LLC in Villanova.
