Katherine E. Bavoso has joined Marshall Dennehey’s Harrisburg office as a shareholder in the Workers’ Compensation Department. She focuses the entirety of her practice on the defense of workers’ compensation litigation, defending claims on behalf of insurance carriers, third party administrators and self-insured employers.
Ms. Bavoso has more than 20 years of workers’ compensation litigation experience across numerous industries. She has argued multiple cases before the Workers' Compensation Appeal Board and in the Commonwealth Court.

Active in the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Ms. Bavoso is a former chair of its Workers’ Compensation Section. She is additionally a member of the Dauphin County Bar Association.
She frequently speaks on workers’ compensation defense topics and has presented at numerous seminars including the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Bureau Conference and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s “Tough Problems in Workers' Compensation” and “Best Practices in Workers' Compensation” seminars.
Rated AV Preeminent® by Martindale-Hubbell, she received her B.S., summa cum laude , from the University of Florida in 1999, and her J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in 2002. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
