McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC is ranked No. 3 in Pennsylvania, according to the most recent bond counsel rankings published in February by a national industry trade publication.

The rankings, which are published annually in The Bond Buyer, are based on total dollar volume for the year. In 2022, McNees served as bond counsel in transactions totaling $1.224 billion – third highest among law firms statewide.

“We are thrilled to be a Top 3 firm for bond counsel in Pennsylvania and are grateful to our clients for their trust and confidence,” said Frannie Reilly, co-chair of the McNees Public Finance & Government Services Practice Group. “At McNees, we believe every bond counsel client deserves exceptional service and a trusted adviser, and we are honored to serve in that critically important capacity.”

McNees offers comprehensive legal services to support and advise clients on a range of public finance needs. As bond counsel, McNees attorneys serve as trusted advisers to state and local government clients, including counties, cities, boroughs, townships, school districts and authorities. The firm also represents for-profit and nonprofit borrowers in financing transactions – including healthcare and higher education clients, underwriters, banks, trust companies and other financial institutions.

Firm attorneys often serve as bond counsel in transactions involving the funding of new capital projects and the refinancing of existing debt, as well as also offering services related to tax-exempt bond transactions.
