Cozen O’Connor is proud to announce that Thomas Wilkinson, a member of the firm’s Legal Profession Services practice, has been selected to receive the American Inns of Court Professionalism Award for the Third Circuit. He will receive this award during the 2023 Third Circuit Judicial Conference in Philadelphia. Thomas and the other Circuit Professionalism Award recipients will also be recognized at the American Inns of Court Celebration of Excellence at the U.S. Supreme Court.
In participating federal circuits, the American Inns of Court Professionalism Awards are presented each year to a lawyer or judge whose life and practice display exceptional character and unquestioned integrity, coupled with ongoing dedication to the highest standards of the legal profession and the rule of law. Candidates for these awards are nominated through circuit-wide open nominations and selected by a panel of representatives from the circuit and the American Inns of Court.
Thomas Wilkinson concentrates his practice in the areas of business litigation, business torts, appellate, complex insurance coverage, and professional responsibility matters. He also has substantial experience advising lawyers and law firms on risk management and professional liability issues. He has been retained and accepted as an expert witness in attorney professional liability and responsibility cases in state and federal courts. He has experience representing lawyers and judges in disciplinary proceedings. He also has been appointed as a neutral mediator and discovery master.
