Greenberg Traurig announces Greenberg Traurig Hosts Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia’s Meeting Season

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP joined the Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia to celebrate the end of their 2022-2023 meeting season, which was hosted by Greenberg Traurig.

“Greenberg Traurig has enjoyed supporting the Barristers’ Association and has appreciated the opportunity to participate in discussions critical to the legal profession in the city and commonwealth,” said Alexander L. Scarola, managing shareholder of the firm’s Philadelphia office. “Our continued relationship with the organization only strengthens the goals and values that the firm was built around, and I welcome the chance to collaborate further in the future.”

President Jahlee Hatchett opened the final meeting which included the panel discussion “Youth & Violence in Philadelphia: The Intersection Between Criminal Justice and Education.” The discussion was moderated by Hermionne Cadet, Esq., senior trial attorney at Allstate Insurance Company and featured panelists De’Angelo Harris, deputy director for the Philadelphia Office of Violence Prevention, Natasha Felder, Esq., assistant general counsel for the School District of Philadelphia, Tracie Johnson, youth ombudperson for the City of Philadelphia, and Zoraida Cordero, MSW, social worker and founder of Impactful Solutions, LLC. After a conversation and question segment, the group closed the meeting with networking and a cocktail reception.

Founded in 1950 to address the developmental and professional needs of African American attorneys in the city, the Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia hosts educational seminars, forums addressing important issues in the city, and cultural events to support their membership.
