She is also a regular speaker and writer on DEI issues. She authored the column, “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Equity” for ALI CLE’s magazine, The Practical Lawyer in which she tackled many issues impacting women and diverse attorneys from tensions in the multigenerational workplace to neurodiversity in the legal profession.

Sarah is committed to giving back to the community and has handled numerous pro bono matters throughout her career. Through the Support Center for Child Advocates, Sarah draws on her former career as a social worker and routinely serves as an advocate for children in foster care. She has litigated several prisoner civil rights cases, as well as a recent criminal matter exposing significant police misconduct in a rural town. Sarah proudly serves on the board of directors of the Anti-Defamation League and the Wolf Performing Arts Center.
