In the Community Involvement Spotlight, we recognize Garry Taroli and his service with Maternal & Family Health Services (MFHS) to address health and nutritional needs among the region’s women, children and families.
Since 1971, MFHS has been preventing disease, promoting wellness, and empowering individuals to realize the promise of better health. Today, MFHS oversees and supports a network of health and nutrition centers in 17 Pennsylvania counties, serving over 100,000 women, men and children annually through their five core programs: WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Nutrition Program, Reproductive Health Services, Cancer Screening Services, The Nurse-Family Partnership Home Visit Program, and Pregnancy Care. Garry currently serves as a Member of MFHS’s Board of Directors and a Member of their Human Relations Committee.
