National law firm Eckert Seamans welcomes Jacqueline Lynette Carter as an Associate in the Commercial Litigation practice group. She joins Eckert Seamans’ Harrisburg office from Marzzacco Niven & Associates.
Carter has experience representing SSDI/SSI claimants before Administrative Law Judges in Pennsylvania and across the country; drafting prehearing briefs and Appeals Council briefs; assessing and summarizing medical evidence; and providing guidance to support staff. She previously served as in-house counsel for the Office of the Democratic Chief Counsel, where she provided legal advice and assistance to elected Democratic Members and employees of the PA House of Representatives. Additionally, Carter served as a Deputy District Attorney for the Office of the Dauphin County District Attorney. She earned a J.D. from Widener University Commonwealth Law School and a B.A. from Messiah University.
