Trophy | In collaboration with Katelyn Perry

Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Immigration and Compliance Practice Global Co-Chair Kate Kalmykov and Shareholder Jennifer Hermansky received recognition in EB5 Investors Magazine’s “Top 25 Attorneys” issue. The publication highlights the industry’s leading legal professionals working in support of the Employment-Based Immigrant Investor Visa Program (EB-5), which provides foreign nationals U.S. visas, contingent upon designated investments in commercial enterprises.

This is the 10th time this duo of the global law firm has been so listed since 2013.

Kalmykov, based in the firm’s New York and New Jersey offices, has close to two decades of business immigration experience, focusing on EB-5 issues. She has represented and structured the largest EB-5 offering in the program’s history and, over the course of her career, has structured more than $12 billion in EB-5 deals. Her practice also encompasses aiding investors and employers of all sizes and industries in navigating and complying with immigration laws, including issues related to the hiring and retention of foreign talent. She routinely supports and advises clients on temporary and permanent residency immigration options for multinational executive, business, scientific, and information technology personnel.

Hermansky, based in the firm’s Philadelphia office, focuses her practice on EB-5 immigrant investor visas as well as employment-based and family-based immigration. She has structured a wide range of EB-5 visa projects across real estate, health care, and hospitality industries, and she provides EB-5 regulatory advice under the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act of 2022. She frequently presents globally on virtually all aspects of immigration law and has a practice that serves a wide range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to universities and entrepreneurs. She currently serves as the vice chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s EB-5 Committee and is an active contributor to Greenberg Traurig’s EB-5 Insights and Inside Business Immigration blogs.
