Community Involvement Spotlight, we recognize Robert N. Gawlas, Jr. and his service with the Back Mountain Memorial Library Association.
The Back Mountain Memorial Library is a well-loved public library in Dallas that serves 9 municipalities and 2 school districts. Over 35,000 people rely on the library for its services, and many more look forward to its annual auction. For most of the year, the library calls on its amazing volunteers and committee members to help plan and prepare for this huge event. Throughout its 75 year history, the auction has grown and changed, but it remains a valued community event that helps the library thrive.
Bob is a Member of the Back Mountain Memorial Library Association’s Board of Directors and the Chairman of its Policy and Library Operations Committee.
