This semester Temple Law School received 69 international students and scholars in our Master of Laws (LLM), exchange student, SJD, and visiting research scholar programs. The students and scholars hail from 25 countries, including at least three students each from Cambodia, China, Germany, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Nigeria and Turkey, and two students each from Albania, Brazil, Colombia, Japan, the Netherlands, and Ukraine.

“We are thrilled to welcome this spectacular group of students and scholars this semester,” said Dean Rachel Rebouché. “International students form an integral part of our law school, adding diverse perspectives and cultural vibrancy to our community, and they quite literally bring the world to all our students and faculty,” she said.

“Our international LLM students form a tight bond with JD students, with our international programs team, and with each other,” said John Smagula, Assistant Dean for Graduate and International Students. “Across the university and law school, international students are a vital part of the Temple family, and we cherish their friendship during their time on campus and long after they graduate,” he added.

In addition to our main campus programs, Temple Law also offers an LLM in US Law at our Tokyo campus and in Beijing. Moreover, international students attend our Summer Abroad in Rome program, earning credits toward their LLM degree while studying at Temple Rome.
