James D. Chiafullo and Jason A. Antin have joined the Pittsburgh office of Steptoe & Johnson PLLC. Both have joined the firm’s Business Department as Members.

Slaughter, CEO of Steptoe & Johnson. “Their extensive experience in sophisticated corporate and commercial real estate matters will be a significant asset to the firm especially as we continue to expand the capabilities of our Pittsburgh office.”
Chiafullo’s practice focuses on the areas of finance, corporate securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, shareholder disputes, construction law, antitrust, contract drafting and negotiation, commercial and real estate law, and franchise law. He works with clients in a variety of industries including, banking, construction, real estate, health care, manufacturing, media, engineering, and franchising. Chiafullo earned his law degree and bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
Antin concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate and general corporate law with a focus on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing. He also has a background as an owner and operator in residential real estate, with an emphasis on landlord operations and representation. Antin earned his law degree from Emory University School of Law, his Master of Laws from New York University School of Law, his MBA from Emory University, and his bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University.
The arrival of Chiafullo and Antin adds to the tremendous growth in the first quarter of 2024 for Steptoe & Johnson’s Pittsburgh office. The duo marks another notable team of lawyers to join the location in January. The office recently relocated to One PPG Place to accommodate current and future growth and strengthen its presence in the market.
