Deborah Winokur will speak on the panel ”Navigating Ethical Waters In Your Practice: Witness Preparation, Candor, Practice Management, and Well-Being” at the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers’ 2024 DUI and Motor Vehicle Law Summit. Deborah will cover ethical duties relating to candor to the court and opposing counsel, withdrawing from a representation, and proper witness preparation, including tips to avoid unethical “coaching.” She will also highlight the ethical duties attorneys must consider in their practices, such as duties arising when a lawyer seeks to leave a firm.
