A lawsuit was filed Feb. 20 against the United States of America, Robert V. Drake, Carol S. Drake, and PPP Assets LLC by Georgia Lynn Perrotti, executrix of the estate of Andrew C. Perrotti, deceased, and in her own right.

The case was filed on Feb. 20 in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. It alleges that Andrew G. Perrotti suffered severe personal injuries due to a dangerous condition at a post office in Tafton that is operated by the United States Postal Service (USPS).

He fell through a gap in the handrails causing serious injuries to his left eye, elbow, lower back and knee which ultimately led to him losing sight in his left eye, the suit says.
