The annual awards program honors attorneys and firms that have left an indelible mark on the legal community in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and beyond through their unwavering dedication to the profession.
Lawyers on the Fast Track, Large Firm winner – Melissa A. Ruth
The Lawyers on the Fast Track Awards celebrate “the next generation of legal leaders.”
Melissa Ruth practices in the area of litigation with a focus on products liability litigation, including mass tort and toxic tort litigation and personal injury defense litigation, including premises and FELA litigation. She also has experience in matters involving commercial disputes, fidelity subrogation and general liability claims. Ruth serves as an arbitrator for the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania and on the board of directors for the Lawyers’ Club of Philadelphia. She was chair of the Young Lawyers Division for the Philadelphia Bar Association in 2023.
Ruth is a 2016 cum laude graduate of Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she was managing editor of research and writing of the Villanova Law Review, and a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University.
