Gregory B. Erwin has filed a lawsuit against Indiana Borough alleging employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation based on his gender under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Erwin claims that he was subjected to a sexually hostile work environment by Brenda Darr, who made unwelcome sexual advances and harassed him after he rejected her. Erwin's employment with Indiana Borough lasted from August 1, 2021, until December 11, 2022. He reported multiple incidents of harassment and retaliation to various management personnel and council members but received no effective response.

The case, identified as Case No. 2:24-cv-00692, was filed in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania on May 9, 2024. Erwin's lawyer is Michael J. Bruzzese.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against Indiana Borough for violating Title VII and requests all appropriate remedies including attorney’s fees and costs.
