Seth J. Schwartz, co-chair of the Construction Injury Litigation Practice Group  in the Philadelphia office of Marshall Dennehey, has been named by corporate counsel to the BTI Consulting Group’s 2024 Client Service All-Stars list. He is one of only 296 attorneys selected nationwide who were identified by corporate counsel for superior client service.

The only way to become a BTI Client Service All-Star is for corporate counsel to single out an attorney for client service exceeding all others. No attorney can lobby to be added to list, there is no self-submission process, and law firms cannot provide names of clients to be contacted. Those selected are the end result of in-depth, independent interviews with legal decision makers at the world’s leading organizations.

“I’m thrilled to be included in this elite group,” said Schwartz. “In every engagement, my goal is to be a trusted partner to my client. I work hard to be responsive, proactive, provide excellent work product, and counsel and deliver outstanding results. Whether I’m trying a case before a jury, or seeking other means of efficient and effective resolution, the client’s needs and wants are my top priority.”

Schwartz provides legal counsel to construction companies, contractors, commercial property owners and managers, bars, trucking companies, amusement parks and recreational facilities and insurance companies. He handles a wide array of catastrophic injury or wrongful death cases in the areas of premises liability, construction accidents, construction defects, trucking, liquor liability, sports, amusement and entertainment litigation.

An experienced trial attorney, Schwartz has tried many cases to jury verdict in Philadelphia and throughout eastern Pennsylvania, with numerous defense verdict results.

Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Schwartz was a staff trial attorney for seven years at Nationwide Insurance where he handled general defense litigation including automobile liability, construction matters, and premises liability.

He serves as a judge pro tem for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and the Investigative Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention. Schwartz also volunteers with Christian Legal Clinics of Philadelphia, where he assists citizens in having criminal records expunged and advises on other matters.

He is a graduate of Temple University School of Law and The American University, and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
