Kevin Sunday, policy advisor with the McNees Strategic Solutions Group, graduated from the U.S. Army War College’s National Security Seminar on June 6. The seminar is a select, invitation-only course for civilian leaders in the private, non-profit and government sectors to share knowledge and examine national security issues through presentations by distinguished speakers and an exchange of candid dialogue with the War College’s faculty and students. The event dovetails with the final week of the yearlong study program for War College’s resident scholars, comprised of senior military leaders from the U.S. and other nations seeking promotion into senior ranks and strategic roles.
“It was a tremendous honor and privilege to attend this seminar, as it afforded me and the other attendees from across the country the chance to learn both leadership and policy skills from an impressive array of scholars and senior officials,” Sunday said. “I was humbled to see the dedication and commitment of our military leadership to learn more about the challenges the private sector faces, their recognition of the importance of embracing innovation across domains, and above all their continued commitment to serving our country.”
