Wilentz Recognized as Market Leader in New Jersey in the 2024 Edition of Chambers USA

Description of Chambers’ Selection Methodology

Chambers USA 2024 has ranked the Wilentz Healthcare department as Band 1 for the ninth year in a row. Team Co-Chair Michael F. Schaff was the only Healthcare attorney included on the “Star Individual” list for the fifth year in a row. Team Co-Chair Grace D. Mack has ranked Band 1 for four consecutive years, and Shareholder Peter A. Greenbaum is ranked Band 1 for the fifth year in a row. Shareholder Jason J. Krisza was named to the “Up and Coming” list.

Shareholder Brett R. Harris of the firm’s Corporate/M&A group ranked Band 3 in the individual attorney ranking tables. Shareholder Michael F. Schaff ranked Band 5.

The Wilentz Banking & Finance group is one of two Band 1 Banking & Finance departments in the state. This is the firm’s fifth consecutive year being ranked in the category. In addition to the practice, Co-Chair Peter R. Herman ranked Band 1 for five years in a row, and Shareholder Anthony M. Osbourne, was named to the “Up and Coming” list.

The firm’s Bankruptcy/ Restructuring department ranked Band 4, Co-Chair David H. Stein ranked Band 3 for the seventh year in a row.

The Wilentz Real Estate department is recognized as Band 1, Shareholder David S. Gordon ranked Band 1 for the thirteenth year in a row, Shareholder and Co-chair of the Real Estate practice group, Laurie E. Meyers ranked Band 2. Co-chair of the Real Estate practice group, Todd E. Lehder ranked Band 3 and Shareholder Christopher D. Hopkins ranked Band 3.

Co-chairs of the Land Use team, Steven J. Tripp ranked Band 1 and Donna Jennings ranked Band 2 for Real Estate: Zoning/ Land Use in New Jersey.  Shareholder Anne S. Babineau was also ranked Band 1. Shareholder and Co-chair of the Real Estate practice group,  Laurie E. Meyers ranked Band 3.

Shareholder and Chair of the Environmental Law Group, Lawrence F. Jacobs ranked Band 3 in the individual attorney ranking tables. 

Wilentz ranked as Band 3 in the Litigation: General Commercial category. Chairman of the Board, Brian J. Molloy ranked Band 2 and Chair of the Business and Commercial Litigation Team, Edward T. Kole ranked Band 2. Shareholder Willard C. Shih ranked Band 3 for the third year in a row.

John A. Hoffman serves Of Counsel to the firm and was included in the “Senior Statespeople” list the individual attorney ranking tables under the Energy & Natural Resources practice area for the second year in a row.
