A recent court filing has brought to light a serious personal injury case involving a local resident and property owner. On March 3, 2023, Tamika Mansell filed a complaint in the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County against Komlan Tsiseglo, alleging negligence that led to her severe injuries.

According to the complaint filed by Mansell's attorney, David S. Berman, Esquire, the incident occurred when Mansell was walking on the sidewalk adjacent to Tsiseglo's property at 720 Church Lane in Yeadon, Pennsylvania. Mansell claims she stumbled and fell due to an uneven and raised portion of the sidewalk, resulting in significant injuries including sprains and strains of her lumbar spine and knees, torn medial meniscuses in both knees, and ongoing pain and suffering. The plaintiff asserts that Tsiseglo was responsible for maintaining the sidewalk in a safe condition but failed to do so.

The complaint outlines various forms of negligence attributed to Tsiseglo. These include failing to properly pour and set the sidewalk, not removing or warning about the dangerous condition, inadequate supervision and training of any agents or employees responsible for maintenance, and creating hazardous conditions without proper signage or barricades. "Failure to pour and set said sidewalk in a manner safe for those lawfully upon it," reads one part of the complaint detailing Tsiseglo's alleged negligence.

Mansell is seeking judgment against Tsiseglo for an amount not exceeding arbitration limits. She demands compensation for medical expenses already incurred from treatments at Lankenau Hospital ($342.88), Allied Medical Associates ($6,950), and Chestnut Hill MRI ($4,500). Additionally, she seeks relief for future medical expenses related to treating her injuries as well as non-economic damages such as mental anguish, emotional distress, loss of life's pleasures, humiliation, embarrassment, loss of earnings capacity, and more.

The case is being handled by Matkoff Shengold Berman Goodnow & Associates P.C., with David S. Berman representing Tamika Mansell.
