Holland & Knight advised Harris Freeman & Co. Inc., a leading private brand tea manufacturer, in its definitive agreement to sell certain subsidiaries that operate its private brand tea business in the U.S., Harris Tea, to TreeHouse Foods Inc. (NYSE: THS). The transaction was announced on December 2.
The acquisition includes Harris Tea's manufacturing facilities in Moorestown, New Jersey, and Marietta, Georgia, and TreeHouse Foods will welcome approximately 300 Harris Tea team members.
