Steptoe & Johnson’s Pittsburgh Office Continues Growth with New Intellectual Property Attorney

 Michelle Weaver, a seasoned patent attorney, recently joined Steptoe & Johnson PLLC’s Intellectual Property Team in the Pittsburgh office as Of Counsel.

Weaver focuses her practice in all facets of intellectual property with a particular focus on drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the mechanical, electrical, and software fields. She guides clients every step of the way when navigating through complex issues, including patent application preparation and prosecution, trademark and copyright disputes, and trademark application preparation and prosecution. In addition, she has handled multiple successful post-grant patent proceedings for clients.

 Weaver earned her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She is admitted to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
