 Tucker Arensberg, P.C. is pleased to announce that seasoned attorneys Doug DeNardo and Jennifer Bittel Derby have been selected as the new co-chairs of the firm’s Estates & Trusts Group. R. Douglas DeNardo has more than 35 years of experience in wealth transfer tax and estate planning strategies. He is a trusted advisor to individuals, families, and closely-held business owners, offering innovative solutions that align with both tax and non-tax objectives. Doug’s extensive knowledge also includes asset protection planning and navigating complex issues tied to the shale gas industry. A Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), Doug has earned recognition as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for over 15 years and holds an AV Preeminent™ rating by Martindale Hubbell.

Jennifer Bittel Derby, a skilled elder law attorney, has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families navigate the complex world of estate planning, long-term care and special needs planning, and business succession planning. With a focus on both personal and business planning, Jennifer has become a go-to advisor for families, business owners, and clients in need of Medicaid eligibility planning, guardianship matters, and asset protection.

Jennifer is also a sought-after speaker and educator, frequently presenting on topics such as estate planning, long-term care, and Medicaid planning. She has been recognized as a Pennsylvania Rising Star in Elder Law and serves as the Vice Co-Chair for the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Elder Law Committee.
