Criminal justice reform appears to be one of the few public policy areas that garners bipartisan support. In recent years, a bipartisan collection of policymakers and advocates from across the political spectrum have worked together to support commonsense reforms. Join leaders from the political left and right who have been at the forefront of efforts to improve the nation’s criminal justice system to discuss the history of bipartisan criminal justice efforts and prospects for the future.

Joining us for this discussion are Insha Rahman, vice president of advocacy and partnerships at the Vera Institute of Justice and the director of Vera Action, and David Safavian, executive vice president and general counsel for CPAC and the CPAC Foundation.

This program is part of the Law School's Building Bridges series, which provides a public forum to bring together leaders with differing views to engage respectfully with one another on important topics while demonstrating civil discourse within our community.

This event is co-sponsored by the following Villanova Law student groups: American Constitution Society, Criminal Law Society and the Federalist Society.

Lunch will be provided at this event.
