Aaron Krauss, a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department, has been appointed to the Uniform Law Commission Joint Editorial Board (JEB) on Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution. The JEB comprises representatives from the American Arbitration Association, the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers, the American Bar Association Section of Litigation, the American Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section, and members of the Uniform Law Commission. As a member of the JEB, Aaron will monitor developments in the civil litigation and dispute resolution areas and recommend new study or drafting projects that the Uniform Law Commission should launch. Additionally, he will make recommendations about the desirability of amending existing uniform acts if such a need should emerge.

Aaron is a business litigator with more than 30 years of experience representing corporations and individuals in business disputes. He concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial, health, employment, and intellectual property litigation. A veteran trial lawyer, Aaron has won numerous verdicts in high-stakes litigation in state and federal courts and before arbitration panels. As satisfying as vindication in court may be, he also recognizes that trial victories are pyrrhic at best if the cost is too great in dollars, time, or lost relationships. Aaron is mindful that any specific issue or dispute must be addressed in a way that best advances his client’s broader business goals.
