Attorney General Dave Sunday announced that a Cumberland County man has been sentenced to 23 to 46 years in prison for repeated sexual abuse, including rape, of a child from 2020 to 2021.
A Cumberland County Judge also sentenced 46-year-old Raymond Nattress this week to 12 years of probation and ordered that Nattress register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
Nattress, of Lower Allen Township, was convicted at trial of three counts of rape of a child, two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, and one count each of aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, and corruption of minors.
“Individuals who prey on and repeatedly harm children have no place in a free society,” Attorney General Sunday said. “The bravery of the victim to tell their story, along with great work by Lower Allen Township police and my team, ensured this defendant is behind bars for decades.”
The victim testified at trial about abuse that started in August 2020 and went on through February 2021.
The case was referred to the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General by the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office.
Senior Deputy Attorney General Jaime Keating handled this case on behalf of the Office of Attorney General.
