PHILADELPHIA (Legal Newsline) — Defendants AbbVie Inc., Abbott Laboratories and Unimed Pharmaceuticals LLC filed an appeal on Aug. 6 in a U.S. District Court in response to the final judgment in an antitrust case that found in favor of the Federal Trade Commission.

PHILADELPHIA — A U.S. District court judge granted in part a defendant’s motion for summary judgment in a civil rights complaint that stemmed from a 2012 fire that resulted in the arrest of a California woman for arson.
A U.S. District Court dismissed a Civil Rights Act and a Pennsylvania Human Relations Act case, because the plaintiff was unable to point to “any evidence from which a reasonable juror could conclude that this firing was retaliatory.”
