PITTSBURGH – An Allegheny County judge has overruled preliminary objections in litigation filed by a man who sustained a series of injuries following a fall which took place during a real estate open house, and who then brought suit against individuals and entities he feels are both negligent and responsible for his injuries.

MEDIA – Several Delaware County health care entities have answered a Georgia woman’s lawsuit, brought after the hospital and its personnel were said to have failed to diagnose and monitor her late husband’s medical condition, which led to him passing away from cardiac arrest soon after his discharge.
Lancaster woman who says she received hand injuries from manicure drops demand for attorney's fees
LANCASTER – A request for attorney’s fees has been removed from litigation filed by a local woman who went into a Lancaster nail salon for a manicure last year, and instead allegedly received serious injuries to her right hand due to the salon’s negligence.
Transit union and Allegheny County Port Authority settle suit over wearing 'Black Lives Matter' masks at work
PITTSBURGH – A transit workers union has settled its litigation with the Port Authority of Allegheny County over a now-overturned ban on its employees wearing face masks emblazoned with “Black Lives Matter” at work, after both the trial court and a federal appellate court ordered the ban ended through injunction.

Department of Justice Files Nationwide Lawsuit Against AmerisourceBergen Corp. and Subsidiaries for Controlled Substances Act Violations
U.S. Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero, together with Associate Attorney General for the Department of Justice Vanita Gupta, U.S. Attorneys for the Districts of New Jersey, Colorado and Eastern New York, and representatives from the DEA and Justice Department’s Civil Division’s Consumer Protection Branch, announced that the Department of Justice filed a civil complaint alleging that AmerisourceBergen Corporation and two of its subsidiaries, AmerisourceBergen Drug Corporation and Integrated Commercialization Solutions, LLC.
