A Philadelphia woman is suing a Bucks County casino, alleging it failed to fire an employee who made several sexual advances.
Clair C. Dolan filed a lawsuit Aug. 3 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment Inc.
According to the complaint, the sexual comments and advances began between February and July 2014, chiefly by a male line cook. On July 10, 2014, the suit says, management told Dolan the line cook would be fired. But on July 17, 2014, the lawsuit says, management sent her an email stating the casino decided to not fire the line cook.
The plaintiff alleges she told management July 23, 2014, she was forced to quit because of the sexual harassment and the failure of her supervisors to take action to stop it.
Dolan seeks lost pay, benefits, compensation for mental anguish. harm to reputation, punitive damages, costs and attorney fees. She is represented by attorney Samuel D. Dion of Dion & Goldberger in Philadelphia.
