A Bensalem-based meal service provider is suing a partnership of health care facilities in Ohio claiming they have yet to pay for services rendered under a contractual agreement.
Healthcare Services Group Inc. (HCSG) filed a lawsuit against Gateway Healthcare Centers Limited Partnership on Sept. 17 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, citing breach of contract.
According to the complaint, on or about Jan. 5, 2012, HCSG entered into a dietary services agreement with Gateway to provide them therapeutic diets, servicewares as well as purchase and prepare non-commercial supplements for patients at their facilities in Euclid, Ohio at $31,763 per month. Gateway was also required to reimburse HCSG for any special function meals it requested. HCSG claims that Gateway, as of Sept. 8, has an outstanding balance of $117,015.29.
HCSG is seeking $126,644.25 plus interest and costs of lawsuit. HCSG is represented by attorneys Steven J. Adams and Craig A. Hirneisen of Stevens & Lee of Reading.
