Philadelphia woman breaks foot, accuses Sky Zone of negligence

PHILADELPHIA -- A Philadelphia, Pennsylvania woman recently sued a New Jersey trampoline park after she broke her foot allegedly because the business failed to properly cover and maintain its trampoline joints.

Neva Heron filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on Oct. 19 alleging the Sky Zone Trampoline Park was grossly negligent in its failure to properly operate and maintain its trampolines and the surrounding areas.

The plaintiff alleges that while a customer at Sky Zone's location in North Maple Shade, New Jersey on May 2 she broke her right foot when she stepped on an uncovered trampoline joint.

Heron is seeking in excess of $75,000 in damages. She is represented by Christopher T. Moyer of 

Master Weinstein Schatz Moyer, P.C. in Philadelphia.
