Retirement

SCRANTON, Pa. -- Trustees of the IBEW Local No. 812 health and welfare, and annuity funds allege a Clinton County, Pennsylvania electrical contractor has failed to make timely payments to the funds, as contractually stipulated.

James Beamer and homes J. Burke, as trustees of the IBEW Local No. 812 Annuity Plan and IBEW Local No. 812 Health and Welfare Fund, filed a lawsuit against Precision Installations, Inc. on Sept. 24 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania citing an alleged violation of collective bargaining agreements.

The trustees allege that liquidated damages and interest are due from Precision Installations on account of the delinquent contributions for the months of January through September, as well as reasonable attorneys’ fees incurred by the lawsuit.

Beamer, Burke and the IBEW Local No. 812 are represented by Charles W. Johnston of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania case no. 1:15-cv-01855-WWC.
