PHILADELPHIA – A Sharon Hill woman is suing a Lima geriatric center at which she was a patient over negligence claims, alleging she was denied the help and medical attention that she needed.

According to the complaint, Hope was admitted into the center when she was 90 years old in January 2014 and remained there through November 2014. During her time at the medical center, the specialists and employees there failed to recognize a number of illnesses and conditions which she contracted, the complaint states. Some of the conditions included gangrene, anemia and a sacral wound, she says.

Hope is seeking compensation of more than $75,000 for the damages which she suffered, as well as the legal fees incurred. She is represented by Rhonda Hill Wilson of the Law Offices of Rhonda Hill Wilson PC in Philadelphia.
