PHILADELPHIA — A Wisconsin man is suing TransUnion LLC, a Pennsylvania business, citing alleged violation of federal law.

Darrell Harvey filed a complaint on May 25 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against TransUnion LLC alleging that the Pennsylvania business reported an inaccurate credit history of the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he has been denied various loans and extensions as a result of an inaccurate credit history being reported to third parties. The plaintiff holds TransUnion LLC responsible for the alleged inaccurate and derogatory information.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, statutory damages, punitive damages, all court costs and any further relief the court grants. He is represented by Mark D. Mailman, John Soumilas and Geoffrey H. Baskerville of Francis & Mailman, P.C. in Philadelphia.
