PHILADELPHIA — A man individual is suing Sandra Padjan and Xcentric Ventures LLC d/b/a Ripoff Report, citing alleged defamation.
Elis Pacheco filed a complaint on July 1 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they wrote posted false and defamatory statements against the plaintiff that were circulated on the internet.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that since May 27, 2014, he has sustained damages to his reputation. The plaintiff holds Sandra Padjan and Xcentric Ventures LLC d/b/a Ripoff Report responsible because Padjan allegedly sent a complaint against the plaintiff containing defamatory and false statements to defendant Xcentric, which the company published online.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks a permanent injunction against the defendants, court costs and any further relief the court grants. He is represented by Simon Rosen of Law Office of Simon Rosen in Philadelphia.
