PHILADELPHIA — A couple's lawsuit against Yahee Technologies Corporation, SIF Services, LLC, Best Choice Products, Inc., and Zijan Zou, California defendants, alleges design defect, failure to warn, negligent misrepresentation and product liability.
Edward Rivera and Lucy Rivera filed a complaint on July 8 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they manufactured and distributed a defective product that caused injuries to Edward Rivera.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Jan. 9, Edward Rivera suffered severe injuries when he fell several feet to the ground from a ladder. The plaintiffs holds the defendants responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to properly inspect their ladder for any defects before selling it to consumers.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of $75,000 plus interest, delay damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Mark C. Schultz of Schultz Law, LLC.
