Motorist seeks damages after collision

Car accident 31

PHILADELPHIA — A motorist is suing Elizabeth McAdams, Karen Prechtel and Douglas Prechtel, alleging negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries.

Rahim Phillip filed a complaint on July 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they failed to properly control their vehicles, which caused a collision.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 14, 2014, he sustained several physical injuries including cervical herniation, bilateral cervical radiculopathy, and several other injuries as the result of a collision involving the defendants' vehicles. The plaintiff says McAdams, driving her vehicle, and Karen Prechtel, driving the Prechtels' vehicle, allegedly drove recklessly and disregarded the rules of the road.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount enough to compensate him for his damages and injuries plus interest, court costs and any further relief the court grants. He is represented by Michael B. Krupnick of Dion, Solomon & Shapiro, L.L.C. in Philadelphia.
