PITTSBURGH — A woman is suing The Prudential Insurance Company of America, alleging she was improperly denied long-term disability benefits.

Tawanna L. Rash filed a complaint on July 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against the defendant, alleging that the insurer violated the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.

The plaintiff seeks all benefits due and owing plus interest, all legal fees and any other relief the court grants. She is represented by Francis M. Moore of Mansmann & Moore, LLP in Pittsburgh.
