HARRISBURG — A couple's lawsuit against Edward Schilling Jr., a/k/a Edward Schilling III, and Big Dog Core Supply Inc., a Maryland business and its owner, alleges negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries.
Karen Friedman-Kester and Mark Kester filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that Edward Schilling drove a vehicle into the rear of the plaintiffs' vehicle.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Oct. 3, 2014, they sustained physical injuries in a collision. They hold the defendants responsible because Schilling allegedly struck a vehicle while attempting to change lanes, then continued traveling and struck the plaintiffs' vehicle.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of $75,000. They are represented by Scott B. Cooper of Schmidt Kramer PC in Harrisburg.
