Three family members seek compensation after crash

HARRISBURG — A couple and their daughter are suing vehicle owners Robert M. Ray and Annette Ray, alleging negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries.

Kimberley Leggee, Jeffrey Leggee and Samantha Leggee filed a complaint on Aug. 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that Robert M. Ray failed to control his vehicle, causing it to collide with Kimberley Leggee's car.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on April 27, 2015, Kimberley Leggee and Samantha Leggee sustained physical injuries. The plaintiffs holds the defendants responsible because Robert M. Ray allegedly made an unexpected left turn, causing his vehicle to collide with Kimberley Leggee's car.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of $150,000 plus interest and court costs. They are represented by James R. Ronca, Christopher J. Marzzacco and Ryan D. Hurd of Anapol Weiss in Philadelphia.
