PITTSBURGH – A passenger in a vehicle involved in an accident has filed a suit over his alleged injuries.
Xuming Lu filed a complaint on Aug. 18 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against David Weaver alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 19, 2015, he sustained physical injuries from being involved in a car accident as a passenger in a vehicle. The plaintiff holds Weaver responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep a proper look out while attempting to make his turn out of the Waterworks Mall onto Freeport Road, striking the vehicle the plaintiff was in.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for damages plus delay damages, interest, and any further relief the court grants. He is represented by R. Tyler Tomlinson and Ian S. Abovitz of Stark & Stark PC in Yardley.
