Federal government claims debt wasn't repaid

PITTSBURGH — The federal government is suing Bobbi S. Messina a/k/a Bobbi Sue Messina, alleging unpaid debt.

The United States of America filed a complaint on Aug. 18 in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Messina, alleging that she failed to pay a debt to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages from unpaid debt, and it holds Messina responsible because she allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff despite its demand for payment.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $5,370.41 plus interest, court costs and any further relief the court grants. It is represented by John F. Kroto of Knox McLaughlin Gornall & Sennett, P.C. in Erie.
