Woman accused of failure to repay loan

PITTSBURGH — The federal government is suing Mary T. Beschen a/k/a Mary Beschen, alleging unpaid debt.

The United States of America filed a complaint on July 25 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Beschen, alleging that she failed to settle her debt to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it sustained damages from unpaid debt. The plaintiff holds Beschen responsible because she allegedly failed to pay the principal amount of her debt including interest despite the plaintiff's demands.

The plaintiff seeks principal balance of $12,029.32 plus interest balance of $17,728.35 for a total of $29,757.67, attorney's fees at 30 percent of $29,757.67 plus interest, court costs and any further relief the court grants. It is represented by Robert S. Bernstein of Bernstein-Burkley, P.C. in Pittsburgh.
