Debt hasn't been repaid, government claims

PITTSBURGH — The federal government is suing Deborah A. Pugsley a/k/a D.A. Pugsley a/k/a Deborah Ann Pugsley, alleging unpaid debt.

The United States of America filed a complaint on July 25 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Pugsley, alleging that she failed to settle her debt to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it sustained damages from unpaid debt. The plaintiff holds Pugsley responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the principal amount of her debt including interest despite the plaintiff's demands.

The plaintiff seeks principal balance of $873.86 plus interest balance of $1,108.69 for a total of $1,982.55, attorney's fees at 30 percent of $1,982.55 plus interest, court costs and any further relief the court grants. It is represented by Robert S. Bernstein of Bernstein-Burkley, P.C. in Pittsburgh.
