HARRISBURG, Pa. -- A Pennsylvania corporation is suing a Michigan company over alleged patent infringement.
Pennsylvania-based Darby Industries Inc. filed a complaint on Sept. 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against Michigan-based B. Erickson Manufacturing Ltd. d/b/a Erickson Manufacturing, alleging the defendant infringes on the plaintiff's patent.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges it suffered damages to its business, and it holds the defendant responsible for allegedly selling truck bed extenders that infringe on the plaintiff's patent.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks an injunction against the defendant, all damages, treble damages and interest, court costs and any further relief the court grants.
