Law money 10

PHILADELPHIA — A former employee is suing WiPro Limited c/o CT Corporation System, alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Gregory E. Davis filed a complaint on Oct. 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against WiPro Limited c/o CT Corporation System, alleging that the employer failed to fairly compensate him for time worked.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid overtime, and that he attended orientation but was not properly compensated for his time. The plaintiff holds WiPro Limited c/o CT Corporation System responsible because the defendant allegedly violated wages laws by improperly classifying him as an exempt employee and not paying him for time connected to orientation.

The plaintiff seeks unpaid compensation, liquidated damages, court costs, interest and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Jana R. Barnett of Jana R. Barnett, Esquire in Wyomissing.
